There is no special test, designed for the screening of depression and menopause available anywhere.



However we developed a simple menopause depression test to check your depressive status in menopause.

 

Test of menopause depression

 

Tick the symptoms experienced for at least two weeks:

 

Any extreme eating patterns, such as bingeing or loss of appetite

Unusual sleeping patterns, such as sleeping all the time or insomnia

Being exceptionally lethargic or restless

An inability to enjoy a once pleasurable activity, including loss of sex drive

Debilitating fatigue or loss of energy

Feelings of worthlessness and self-reproach

Difficulty concentrating, remembering and making decisions

Thoughts of death or suicide, or suicide attempts (seek help straight away).
