Coping with
Depression:
Why Me?
Why
me?
It must have
been your question. Why am I so unlucky? How could it
happen to me?
You surely know that there are about 19 million adult in
US who try to overcome depression. But why me?
You surely know some facts about genetic background or risk factors.
But why me?
And I'm sure that this is a
good question. An essential question.
Somebody described her story as follows (excerpt):
"I
think there was something always wrong with me. My very first memories
are so strange. I was always alone. And there were periods of terrible
times. I was so sad. So sad... It was like a pain but even worth..."
And another:
"My
parents used to say: you are so peevish as a cat! But it was not true!
Jesus, if they knew what was in me! Sometimes I tried to speak about
it. But they didn't want to listen to me..."
Depression
is associated with the loss of interest. Loss of interest in the outer world,
interest in the life and interest in the others.
Make your first step in the direction of health:
Rediscover
the world.
Rediscover that the world still exists outside
of you.
And make the second step in depression cure! This is the right place for the second step:
Express yourself!
Tell
your story...
Your Story
Share your experiences, imaginations and dreams
